Ukrainian Air Defense Shoots Down 43 Russian Drones in Coordinated Attacks

On the night of June 13, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces demonstrated high efficiency by shooting down 28 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukrainian territory. Additionally, 15 drones were disabled through electronic warfare measures.

In total, the Ukrainian Air Forces managed to neutralize 43 out of 55 unmanned aerial vehicles launched by the enemy. Besides drones, Russian forces also carried out attacks with four ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M and KN-23 types.

The main regions targeted by enemy attacks were Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.

“As of 09:00, air defense has neutralized 43 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (and other types of drones) in the north, east, and south of the country. 28 were shot down by fire weapons, 15 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.”

It is worth noting that enemy drone strikes were recorded in nine different locations across the country, indicating the scale and coordination of the attacks by the adversary.
