During the night of October 26, air defense forces shot down 90 of 101 Russian drones that the Russian army directed at Ukraine. Drone strikes were recorded at four locations.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack involved 101 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia; Guardske – the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea; about 60 of these drones were Shahed-type.
The assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense had been preserved: 90 Russian drones were destroyed or neutralized in the north, south, and east of the country. Also recorded were hits by five attack UAVs at four locations and debris falling at five sites.

The occupying forces are actively deploying drones of various types from different regions of the Russian Federation, but the Defence Forces continue to respond effectively, ensuring the safety of the airspace and preventing damage to infrastructure.
