In the morning, around five o’clock, an incident occurred in Hungary involving a bus carrying Ukrainian children. For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned on the route between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tiszaföldvár. This information was confirmed by the Ukrainian embassy in Nyíregyháza.
There were 77 people on the bus, of whom 19 were injured. Four of the injured are in serious condition, but there are no fatalities. The victims were promptly taken to hospitals in the cities of Szolnok, Kecskemét, and Szentes for medical assistance.
Rescuers are working at the scene, along with the Ukrainian ambassador Fedir Shandor and consuls who are providing support to Ukrainian citizens.
Other passengers who were not injured have been temporarily accommodated at the Cultural Center in Kunszentmárton, where food and a place to rest have been arranged for them.
