As reported by AviVector’s Twitter account

Satellite images, released on September 28, confirm the effects of drone strikes by Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence on airfields in occupied Crimea, notably near Kacha and in the Simferopol district. The footage shows the destruction of the An-26 transport aircraft and damage to Be-12 aircraft.

Five Be-12 aircraft (Mail), 1 An-26 aircraft (Curl), 3 MiG-29K aircraft (Fulcrum-D), 4 Mi-8 helicopters (Hip), and 4 Ka-27/29 helicopters (Helix).

The photo documents the outcomes of attacks that Ukraine’s GUR carried out over the past week.

During the week, Ukraine’s GUR reported the destruction of two Be-12 aircraft, two An-26 aircraft and four Mi-8 helicopters in temporarily occupied Crimea

Analysis confirmed the complete destruction of the An-26 transport aircraft with tail number RF-46878 (“Blue 30”). Signs of a fire remained at the site, and the debris has already been cleared. The second An-26 could not be identified.

Also, damage to the Be-12 “Yellow 08” was recorded, which was moved from the base after the attack. Another Be-12 was also moved. On the territory, a crater from a strike is visible near another aircraft of this type, presumably without damage.

Additionally, it is noted that the attempt to strike the Mi-8AMTSh at Kacha was unsuccessful, but in the Simferopol area the complete destruction of one Mi-8 and damage to another has been confirmed.

After Previous Actions

According to Ukraine’s GUR, on September 24, the special unit “Phantoms” burned two Russian An-26 transport aircraft, and also struck the surface-search radar and the MR-10M1 “Cape M1” coastal radar.

This information reflects the course of operations being conducted in occupied Crimea and requires official confirmation from the relevant authorities.

In their actions there are signs of criminal offenses under Art. 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Threats or violence against a law enforcement officer” and Art. 194 “Deliberate destruction or damage of property”. The relevant notices have been sent to the National Police
