According to the Telegram channel of the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ‘Madyar’
On the night of November 5, units of the Defense Forces struck a base for storage, assembly, and launch of Shahed-type drones in the temporarily occupied Donetsk, on the territory of Donetsk Airport. The information was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as in the Telegram channel of the UAV Forces commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, “Madyar”.
The commander noted that the operation was a joint effort between the SSO, RVIA, and the brigade reconnaissance of the 414th SBS “Birds of Madjar”.
The development of this complex objective evolved into a months-long, painstaking reconnaissance operation, assembled from small pieces; tonight it was carried out by the appropriate strike assets of the SSO and RVIA of the Ukrainian Defense Forces
According to objective monitoring, explosions and a powerful secondary detonation were recorded at the site of the facility, the General Staff reported.
Details of the operation and its consequences are being officially clarified, but the effectiveness of the strikes on the facility and the intensified pressure on opposing forces near Donetsk Airport are confirmed.
