In the Kupiansk direction, during the execution of a combat mission, Russian forces hit an armored vehicle of the Main Intelligence Directorate fighters. However, despite this, the driver managed to evacuate the vehicle.
This information was released by the Main Intelligence Directorate on May 20. It is known that the M1224 MaxxPro armored vehicle was struck while the soldiers from the “Timur Special Unit” were carrying out their mission. After the hit, the fighters quickly left the vehicle, but the driver decided not to leave the armored vehicle on the battlefield.
The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that a soldier from the logistics unit checked the engine’s condition and, after confirming it was operational, set out on a dangerous evacuation. Despite the armored vehicle running on three wheels, the driver successfully drove it out of the danger zone, accompanied by the sounds of metal scraping against the asphalt.
