Ukrainian Forces Repel 56 Assaults, Inflict Heavy Losses on Russian Troops

On the front, in the last 24 hours (September 29), 176 clashes were recorded. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted 56 assault attempts by the Russian army, and the enemy registered significant losses – 970 military personnel killed in a day.

As of 08:00 on September 30, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine summarized the enemy’s activity: Russian aviation carried out 51 strikes, dropped 104 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 4,463 shellings, including 126 from MLRS, involving 5,531 kamikaze drones.

The Russian army also struck areas: Seredyna-Buda in Sumy Oblast; Novoselivka, Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Lvove and Odradokamyanka in Kherson Oblast.

In the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces destroyed three concentrations of personnel, weapons and military equipment and one artillery asset of the Russian troops.

Casualties and Operational Data

“Russian invaders’ losses for the past day amounted to 970 personnel. Ukrainian soldiers also eliminated four tanks, an armored fighting vehicle, 27 artillery systems, a multiple-launch rocket system, a helicopter, 301 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, 90 units of motor vehicles, and the occupiers’ heavy flamethrower system.”

The enemy continued active actions on various fronts, but Ukrainian forces held the defense, inflicting corresponding strikes and maintaining the key front-line lines.

The situation on the front line remains tense but under the control of the defense forces, which are strengthening positions and continuing countermeasures to slow the enemy’s advance.

In summary, the front-line situation remains dynamic: Ukrainian units are stabilizing the line and strengthening defense in the main directions.
