Approximately 200 Russian infantrymen infiltrated Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, slipping through Ukrainian defensive positions. In the city, rifle clashes are ongoing, but the defense forces do not allow the occupiers to establish themselves. Such data were released in a briefing by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 26. Ukrainian units are working to stabilize the situation in Pokrovsk and are conducting counter-sabotage measures. In the city, about 200 personnel of the Russian army remain.

Situation in Pokrovsk as of 25–26 October
Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. The approximate front line as of 25 October is aligned with the city data and the combat actions map. In the city, fighting remains highly intensive and dynamic, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Defence forces are searching for Russian infantry that infiltrated the city and aim to destroy them or take them prisoner. According to the General Staff, since 20 October the Russian army has increased the number of assault actions with armored vehicles in the Pokrovsk sector.
On 25 October, in the Pokrovsk area, as a result of fire impact, one AFV and two motorcycles were destroyed, and in the Balagan direction – one enemy AFV. That is, all the vehicles the enemy deployed in their assault actions
