Ukrainian government fires ‘Naftogaz’ CEO

’The government has fired ‘Naftogaz’ CEO Andriy Kobolev’, informed the Ukrainian MP Oleskiy Goncharenko in his ‘Telegram’ channel.

The move followed the news on ‘Naftogaz’ suffering 19 billion losses.

Andriy Kobolev was  at the helm of ‘Naftogaz’ since 2014. The sacked CEO  informed in his Facebook statement that he was not aware of dismissal and had learned about it from news.

Earlier, in October 2020, State Audit Office reported about ‘Naftogaz’ financial violations causing  the country economy  75,5 billions losses.
