The Cabinet of Ministers assigned the duties of the minister to Lyudmila Sugak, the Deputy Minister of Justice for European Integration.

A draft resolution to dismiss Galushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada. The Ministry of Justice confirmed that investigative actions involving Galushchenko were conducted as part of the criminal proceedings.
