US Treasury Sanctions 32 Entities Supporting Iran’s Missile and Drone Programs

As reported in the official statement of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has imposed new sanctions in response to Iran’s support for missile and drone development. According to OFAC, more than 30 individuals and entities from eight countries have been placed under restrictions, including two shell companies registered in Ukraine.

In an official OFAC statement, issued through Ukrinform, it is noted that sanctions have been applied to 32 individuals and entities from several countries involved in procurement networks that support Iran’s production of ballistic missiles and UAVs.

Among the designated entities are two Ukrainian firms, GK Imperativ Ukraina LLC (GK Imperativ) and Ekofera LLC (Ekofera), which were used by Iranian trading agent Bahram Tabibi as part of its supply chain.

These companies were involved in the procurement and supply of aerospace materials, including orientation indicators and magnetometers, which were subsequently shipped to the state-owned Iranian company HESA – the manufacturer of military aircraft and Ababil-series UAVs.
