Zelensky Awards State Honors to 585 Ukrainian Servicemen Including Posthumous Recognitions

As noted on the Official website of the President of Ukraine, the corresponding decrees No. 840/2025 and No. 841/2025 dated November 12 have been published on the Head of State’s website.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has once again confirmed state awards for 585 service members, of whom 280 received the honors posthumously.

The decrees No. 840/2025 and No. 841/2025, signed on November 12, were published on the official site of the head of state. The awards in the documents are granted for personal courage demonstrated in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, and for devoted fulfillment of military duty.

Among the decorations are the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Daniil Galitsky, the order “For Courage”, as well as the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine”, “Defender of the Fatherland” and “For Life-Saving”.

Additionally, it is known that by a previous decree dated November 10 the head of state has already awarded 304 service members, among whom 135 received awards posthumously.

These state decorations underscore the significant contribution of defenders to preserving the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and recognize their selfless service to the state.
