According to the official report, “town of Krasnohorivka was hit by shells that damaged Mariynka central district hospital”.

The hospital came under the attack at night April 4, cutting off electricity. No casualties are reported.

The shells damaged windows of the hospital wards hosting 45 Covid-19 and pneumonia patients.

“Circumstances of the accident are not being looked into [..]Mariynka town administration is taking steps to address the shelling consequences,” informed the local officials.

Police have launched an official probe into the accident classifying  the case as a terror act.
