Ukraine moves to tighten Covid-19 restrictions amid reports of climbing infections across the country.
The vaccine mandates will be extended to domestic travel, announced the Ukrainian government in a meeting Monday.
Effective October 21, proof of vaccination, a negative coronavirus test or proof of recent recovery will be required of all passengers on interregional buses, trains, and domestic air flights.
The policy brings in the same requirement for employees of bus, rail, and air operators.
The new travel restrictions will be put in place in the regions listed in yellow, orange and red zones.
The goverment stressed bus, rail, air travel operators must guarantee their employees must be fully vaccinated to carry on with operations.
