On Wednesday, “Urkoboronprom’ announced about the  redundancy of Deputry Director General Mustafa Nayem.

“The Deputy Director General Mustafa Nayem is leaving his post. To provide optimal restructuring of the concern, the post of Deputy Director General  has been made redundant. Generally, ‘Urkoboronprom’ will have 10% optimization of employees numbers,” says the company’s statement. The concern also thanked Nayem for his achievements in this post.

Calling the move unforeseen,  Mustafa Nayem argued that he had not been informed of his redundancy.
He thanked his ‘Ukroboronprom’ colleagues and cited inventory of intellectual property he launched at the concern as his biggest accomplishment.

“We usually see people leaving with a chip on their shoulder. It is not the case. I will continue to support the concern reform and welcome the company’s success, and will come to help when needed. We have started a big thing and I want to see it succeeding,” Nayem wrote in his Facebook statement.

Mustafa Nayem, former MPs and political activist, was appointed a Deputy Director General of ‘Ukroboronprom’ in November, 2019.
