Volodymyr Zelensky should focus on  Ukraine’s security issues  instead of making up criminal cases targeting Ukraine’s opposition, said Petro Poroshenko n the video address after he was summoned to State Bureau of Investigation on Monday.

‘This statement is especially relevant when it comes to criminal cases that have been fabricated against me on the direct instructions of Zelensky’, Poroshenko stressed.

He claimed that none of the numerous cases has anything to do with common sense or law. Instead, they are all political persecution of opposition.

‘Zelensky wants to get rid of his political opponents, following into steps of Putin, Lukashenko and Yanukovych. He does all this in his usual TV series’ manner. And criminal interrogations for him are just next episodes of this low-brow series’, Petro Poroshenko claims.

The former president claimed  he answered all the questions of investigation in so-called ‘coal contracts’ case’.

Petro Poroshenko says he will no longer play the role assigned to him by ‘screenwriters’ and ‘directors’of the ’95 Kvartal circus’.

‘If we are talking about high treason, then the presence of Zelensky is absolutely necessary. It’s him who has to be interrogated, at least on his criminal inaction at the time of Russia’s preparations for a full-scale invasion’, the opposition leader said.

As our counry faces Russia’s sabre-rattling at its borders, we need political unity in the face of aggression, said Poroshenko, arguing Zelensky is failing to understand it.

‘Enough of the TV series. It’s time to face the reality’, the former president concluded.
